Dr. Pipes, you say "Catholic Church is not usually considered mainstream". Considering that Catholics form around half of all who profess to be Christians, is this not an anomaly?

I did not write that. I wrote that "The Catholic Church is not usually considered to be a mainline church."

I suggest you look up the term "mainline church" to understand my meaning. It refers specifically to certain Protestant churches.
