God's Laws

Reader comment on item: A Democratic Islam?
in response to reader comment: God's Laws are intuitive and exist outside of religious doctrine.

Western culture and democracy bases itself on freedom OF religion (beliefs). It was Jesus who admonished us to render to Ceasar what he demands and to God what he demands. Do you believe this wisdom was of man? Do you not believe His Words and that he rejects the ways of this world? You know very well that God demands nothing of this earth for as the Creator wants for nothing of this world, and demands only our love for Him and each other. Do you pretend that we humans are the light of the world when without the Spirit of God we live in darkness stumbling and searching. All the "isms" (beliefs) are of man which will return to dust as we will. The God of Abraham is the God of the Living not of the dead and his path is to Life Everlasting as is God's Word. And finally Jesus came not to separate the Old from the New Testament but to fulfill the words of the prophets and he told you this. You live in freedom to reject these words and seek your own path.
