There is a man who fears that once the truth of Islam becomes self-evident those trapped in that totalitarianism will begin to question much more than religion. They may well eventually want to elect their own representation in government. That's the path to a democracy and the protection of the rights of the individual over the State. Good-bye Islamic dictatorship.

It's not Islam that is being protected it is that top down authoritarian dictatorship that is being protected. Islam is just the shell to continue the power over the serfs. Notice the total lack of respect and the words he uses to describe those seeking a voice in their world. "fools", "rotten minds","lowlifes", "ignorant people".
