in response to reader comment: TRUMPET

First of all, Islamists, as you call them, hate the USA because we are mostly Christian and secular. It has little to do with Israel. They have been at war with my Church long before the Jewish state was formed in the late 1940's. For over 1000 years they persecuted Catholics, and we have been at the vanguard of every holy war the radicals have fought.

I've read the reports of Post-nazi Islamist scouts. They hated us for taking care of our lawns and living simple lives.

Isreal is just an expression of how they feel. If it didn't exist, they would just find another reason.

Take bin-laden, for instance.

He's mad because the USA defended his homeland from Saddam. That is his CHIEF concern, not Israel, not Palestine. That's what he is angry about: unveiled, female soldiers from the USA defending Riyadh and Mecca and Medina while the his "mujaheedin" cower from the Saddamster's scud missiles.

Is that what they taught you in the UAE schools? That these men are part of some ideological cause for God? ha ha. This is all about revenge, revenge for the siege of Vienna, revenge for defeating ally hilter and Iran in World War 2, revenge for having female warriors steal the victory of Saudi mujaheedin as their land was attacked by a fellow Sunni in Iraq. You say Isreal and Palestine? Ha ha. They are nothing but pawns and cannon fodder to Islamists like bin-laden. They are a secondary concern and a rallying cry and they are the front lines, while osama and the taliban sit comfortably in the remote regions of the world. They do not care if the Palestinians die, they wouldn't care if Abu Dhabi and Dubai lay in ruins as long as their revenge is completed.

Tell me, if suicide bombs are so good, why doesn't osama and rest of al queida leadership come down and do it themselves?

Despite Islam's numerous wars, I know of the suffering of Palestinians, and I sympathesize. Yet, in your arrogance, you choose not to see that. Israel should give back all that belongs to the Palestinians, and the rest of the world should leave BOTH countries ALONE!

Or maybe you think because you are Muslim you speak for the people of Palestine? ha ha.

I have no love for Hamas. They've made their goal clear that they wish to conquer the Vatican. Are they truly prepared to drench their hands in blood and fight every country in the Americas and Eastern Europe?

Such a statement is in itself pathetic and impractical. But do you, my dear sts, embrace that view?

Let's get one thing straight---I represent myself, not my country nor my government. If you want their stance, please visit the American Embassy.

I don't think any government besides the Vatican follows Christian values. People are just too selfish.

It would be difficult for me to say which government is the biggest liars. Certainly, the UAE isn't innocent. I seem to recall the sodomizing of a teenage French boy in your desert by an Emirati man with AIDS. Now, I wonder where he got that from? The government did nothing until international outrage came out.

The unabridged teaching of Mohammed is to kill all of those who do not believe in Islam. You mention to treat prisioners nicely, but there would be no need without a war, which is permissible to spread Islam by such means as said in your Quran. Again, you speak in biased riddles, and art you have mastered.

If you have a problem with the violence of the Old Testament, then talk to the Jews. Although, it would seem to me that even they don't follow such archiac measures. Maybe Muslims could take a few pointers from them.

The New Testament teaches that we are not to kill, and the Vatican strictly says that war cannot be issued unless all peaceful alternatives have been exhausted. I don't think this was the case with the Iraq War.

The attacks of 9-11 were planned when Clinton was president, in 1995. Bush didn't take office until 2001.
