Re: Again, A Democratic Islam?

Reader comment on item: A Democratic Islam?
in response to reader comment: Democracy

I see only hypocrisy in Islam apologetics. If Islam were true to its purpose then no Palestinian would be hungry, or thirsty, or in need of medical assistance. All of Islam would send every kind of humane aid to the Palestinians. Instead, Palestinians are said to be deprived and hungry because of Israeli policy and that simply is not true. Palestinians are deprived because muslims TALK about helping the poor but they do not PRACTICE the concept. Hypocrisy.

Meanwhile, Palestinians are kicked out of Jordan, Turkey, Egypt, Saudia Arabia, and Lebanon, so much for helping the poor and downtrodden. Pure hypocrisy.

Taxes against non-muslims are justified? How strange that on the one hand the practices of infidels are considered detrimental to muslim society buton the other hand if the admission fee is paid then everything is OK. Hypocrisy.

Blasphemy? Islam rejects that the Lord Jesus Christ is God and Savior AND makes that statement publically. I declare that to be blashemy against Christainity but I'm not going to kill you over it. I publicly state the Muhammed was not a prophet and now I am a target of a death squad. I'm confident that God will sort out who is correct. Let God decide and not some depraved squad of majaween. Hypocrisy.

Rewarded for growing a beard like prophet? A man is best judged by his character and not by whether he wears a beard. Hypocrisy.

Sharia law encourages the active destruction of any conflicting system of thought or behavior considered an abomination. God allows mankind freedom of choice but the Islam makes itself to be God's will and passes judgment. And for this reason, a young girl still in high school, for touching the hand of a male classmate, was beaten to death. The beating death was justified under Sharia law. Sharia law is hypocrisy incarnate.
