Dear Dr. Saiyed,

A thousand years before Jesus Christ hung on the Roman cross an Old Testament Psalm forecast his crucifixion. One thousand years before the actual event every detail was reported, the piercing of Christ's hands and feet, joints separating from the weight of the body hanging there, abd being lots cast for his clothes... all of these things and more were forecast by the books guarded by a long jewish tradition.

At the time of the crucifixion Jesus Christ shouted out a plea as the Justice of God judged the sins of all mankind. The sacrifice of the humanity of God the Son was the required payment by the Justice of God to free all men from the penalty of sin.

6000 years before the cross Abraham was commanded by the Lord to offer his son up as a sacrifice in the land of Moriah. The patriarch traveled three days until he came to the mount that God taught him. He commanded the servant to remain while he and Isaac proceeded alone to the mountain, Isaac carrying the wood upon which he would be sacrificed. Along the way, Isaac repeatedly asked Abraham where the animal for the burnt offering was. Abraham then replied that The Lord would provide one. Just as Abraham was about to sacrifice his son, he was prevented by an angel, and given on that spot a ram which he sacrificed in place of his son. And for his faith in God Abraham was accounted to have received the gift of Righteousness.

God the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, paid the penalty for all men. The act of faith in the work of Christ results in the imputation of God's Righteousness to the believer in time. Man enjoys reconciliation to God this way.

Some 600 years after the cross the prophet Mohammed declared all the former prophesies and the actual cross as falsehoods. This is what you believe. You reject 10000 years of tradition to follow the precepts of Islam.

Islam seeks to obtain a standing with God through behavior based works, totally rejecting the work of God the Son.

What is the basis in Islam for enjoying communion with God? The works of your hands? Prayer? Abstinance? God's holiness resides in a place that man cannot reach.

Christians believe the Love of God provided a means for all men to enter the Holy of Holies and there, boldly approach the throne of Grace.

Now consider for yourself, do you follow the creator or the creature.
