Altho' many of us know about this myth, Jerusalem never having been mentioned in the Koran . I suggest you read the "The myth of Al-Aqsa" by Arutz Sheva" . I can't do hyper links but it comes up on top of the Google listings and Prof.Sheva explains it in exquisite detail. Too many muslims have been revising history to suit their goals (just like Pallywood) but since 9/11 and the translation of your religious books to languages other than Arabic, the world has had its eyes opened to the tenets of your religion. Interest has really grown and surprise, surprise, many muslims do not seem to be comfortable with (or are even embarrassed by) the fact that we are now aware of it's inner workings.

As for the fastest growing religion - demographically, maybe, but in my country, which is secular,Islam is seen with growing horror. (honour killings, circumcision and the rest of Sharia law). Hopefully, with education as it is in the West and downunder , women will become strong enough to throw off the oppression of Islam and thus Islam will fade into the past where it belongs. Many here have already done that - I can only grieve for those women in Islamic countries who do not have the choices that muslim women in the west have (fully supported by our women's refuges and Government aid), and who are taking full advantage of the freedoms and equality countries like mine offer.
