Reader comment on item: A Democratic Islam?

Why would the richest and most powerful Muslim leaders want to change their countries to a democracy when they have all this oil demand, especially at $115 a barrel and rising and give up their power?

The only way that things will change in Musllm countries is if the majority get educated enough to throw off the Koran's orthodox teachings based upon Shari law and force revolutions.

I don't this happening in the next 100 years if ever.
