Unfortunately, we are all bound by the perfidy of those we have chosen to lead us or those who have chosen to impose their authority over us. There are however a minority of us from free and authoritarian systems who despite religious or cultural barricades endeavour to do good and contribute to the amelioration of our societies. Those few who do battle against the tribalist need to be considered "distinct beings", [better, superior, the only culture, the only true religion] are our only hope of ever uniting mankind into a concerted global force where nations compete at doing good and advancing the human life experience.

Too many places in this world only advance the experience of death. It doesn't require any thought, any creativity, any great labour of love to kill a person, an idea, or a dream.

One rule that transcends all culture's religion and social order is?
First rule of social order trampled under by those religions or cultures wishing to be held as distinct is?

You shall love your neighbour as yourself.
JUDAISM: Leviticus 19.18

Treat others as thou wouldst be treated by thyself.
SIKHISM: Adi Grandth

Desire not for anyone the things that ye would not desire for
yourselves.
BAHÁ'Í FAITH: Gleanings 66

That nature is only good when it shall not do unto another whatever is
not good for its own self.
ZOROASTRIANISM: Dadistan-i-Dinik

All things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even
so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
CHRISTIANITY: Matthew 7.12

Not one of you is a believer until he loves for his brother what he
loves for himself.
ISLAM: Forty Hadith of an-Nawawi

Hurt not others with that which pains yourself.
BUDDHISM: Udana 5.13

Regard your Neighbour's gain as your own gain and your neighbour's
loss as your own loss.
TAOISM

Never do to others what would pain thyself.
HINDUISM: Panchatantra 3.104

Do not do to others what you do not want them to do to you.
CONFUCIANISM: Analects 15.23 To build may have to be the slow and laborious task of years. To destroy can be the thoughtless act of a single day. - Sir Winston Churchill
