Reader comment on item: A Democratic Islam?
in response to reader comment: Islam is Democratic

In a free democracy children are allowed out of a burning building even without wearing scarves and robes and not made to burn to death or die from smoke inhalation for lack of them. In a free democracy a woman is not punished for being raped. In a free democracy every religion is allowed to function without interference and not routed out of their homes by a suspicious and heavy handed religious police. In a free democracy the voice of a single woman is equal to that of a man. In a free democracy a man is not punished for a silly thing as simple as not wearing a beard. In a free democracy one can choose the art to view or music to enjoy. The list of examples is as endless as the prison of the muslim mind.

Muslims revel in their own perceived purity but give no respect to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords who offers a purity beyond human conception as the reward for a simple act of faith. Muslims reject God's greatest gift so what does it matter that they do not understand the concept of freedom of choice.
