Secularism

Reader comment on item: A Democratic Islam?
in response to reader comment: Moses, Jesus, Paul, Mohammed--all historical figures

Submitted by Straight_Talk_Luigi (United States), May 14, 2008 at 05:19

Secularism is the reason why powers in the East like Islam are rising.

Secularism promotes a docile attitude that "everyone wants to be like me because I'm at peace with my inner self."

Secularism neglects spiritual health.

Listen, Claire, have no appreciation for ancient wisdom? Many of the wonders of the world were designed by ancient knowledge.

And as far Jesus goes, how does love God with all your heart and soul and love your neighbor as yourself go for being archiac?
