sTs, read this tafsir on 9:1-7 by Ibn Kathir to see the difference from your interpretation.

http://www.tafsir.com/default.asp?sid=9&tid=20713

>>Yes, what Mohammd did in the two incidents are retaliation for what the pagans did to the Muslims, they killed and tortured and stole all their belongings in Mecca.

You have BIG misconception about the explanation of the verses. you are so ignorant you need a lot of teaching<<

You have made a statement without substantiation for what Muslims suffered. You are distorting the true picture. You have not given any source for your claim that Muslims were the ones who suffered. Remember the Meccans had to suffer through the insults heaped by Muhammad on their idols and religion for 13 years. How many minutes do you think a disbeliever will last if he chooses to insult the prophet or the black stone in Mecca??

Ibn Ishaq's Life of Muhammad page 130-131 tells about the so-called suffering of the Muslims. It also reports Muhammad threatening the Quraish with slaughter.

sTs give us a few authentic Islamic sources that show the suffering of Muslims.

Regards

Plato
