Mansoor sahab

You have given precise but apt reply.

Well done.

I sent following reply to the article kindly have a say on it also.

"The article is self contradictory, how the author can reconcile the view when he says, "Despite this scorn, Islamists are eager to use elections to attain power, and have proven themselves to be agile vote-getters; even a terrorist organization (Hamas) has won an election. This record does not render the Islamists democratic but indicates their tactical flexibility and their determination to gain power. "Whether he knew that by uttering above words his view reaches no where. By naming Hamas a terrorist organization nothing comes out because the elections were held in Palestine and not in Israel. People voted for Hamas & VOTE is the basic idea of Democracy or does it mean something else. I could not understand that why author is so ignorant to simple basic definition of Democracy, or democracy means to him that while sitting in Israel, America or Europe people should vote for a Government of their choice in A Muslim Countriy. Would any body buy this idea? Can the writer provide the world any explanation relating to elections of Algeria which was rejected by the torch bearers of democracy? Latest such example is Nepal's elections which was also rejected by most of the west. He should bear in mind That all autocratic Muslim states are fully been suported by America & West e.g Saudi Arabia, Pakistan etc. Elction means 'will of the people' if you are not respecting the 'will of people' then you are actually an autorat and none else Sir."

KHUDA HAFIZ & Regards,
