nothing less than sophisticated

Dear Mr Pipes,

i am a teaching assistant at Cairo University, Faculty of Economics ad Political Science. I really like your articles, as i am a member of your mailing list "I subscribed to it earlier".

I would like to tell you that your work on Islam is nothing less than sophisticated...i really admire the way you approach the topic, and believe it or not, as an academic, I can not see why qualitiative research techniques are losing ground nowadays when people like you still exist.

Enough with the appraisal....If I ever make it to the USA in the near future, i will do my best to meet you in person.

By the way, I am not a fan of your articles because you are not attacking Islam as a religion, as it may be concluded because I am a muslim. I like them because you are accurate and articulate in whatever you write.

Ebtisam Hussein
