in response to reader comment: trans-parere, God's laws not intuitive

"if Jesus is a defining separation between OLD Testament and The NEW Testament", can you explain why Jesus and the 12 apostles quoted continuously from the Old Testament?

I'm not sure I would describe the contribution of Jesus and his Apostles as "continuously quoting the old Testament". There is a very applicable reason for calling the New Testament THE New Testament. I suggest you contact a representative of your Christian Church for I am not a Christian nor a authority on Christian doctrine. But in simple terms as I understand it, the first half of the holy Bible or Old Testament is the Hebrew Bible, the second half or New Testament is the "New Covenant" brought in the person of Jesus and the Gospels narrate that ministry, and the Acts are narratives of the Apostles ministry after Jesus death.

You list 6 commandments, why omit the other 4?

I left out the others because they are represented in the religions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam and not as such held or particular in the jurisprudence of our "western" civil or criminal law. A complete reading of the conversation to Syed Kasim would have given a contextual arena for this discussion.

You state that, "God's Laws are intuitive".
How can they be intuitive, when they are listed in the Old Testament, (Deut 5:7) and in the New Testament?

Yes I did state that God's laws are intuitive. From the word intuition meaning the power or faculty of attaining to direct knowledge or cognition without evident rational thought and inference. Man is both good and bad and with out prompting is aware of his or her behavior and whether it is right or wrong and exactly how he or she ought to be behaving. Ask a two year old those six commandments as questions and you will receive an appropriate answer. Ask a two year old if you should hurt God and he or she will give you your other four commandments. This is original man stuff etched into the soul of every living person except for perhaps a sociopath.

I don't keep the Sabbath nor Sunday. Every day is a day of blessings and of giving thanks between me and my God. We are inseparable. Neither of us would exist with out the other.

I will praise thee;
for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
marvelous are thy works;
and that my soul knoweth right well.
psalm 139:14

Therefore was a single man only first created, to teach thee that whosoever destroyeth a single soul from the children of man, Scripture charges him as though he had destroyed the whole world.
The Talmud

The images of the unconscious place a great responsibility upon a man. Failure to understand them, or a shirking of ethical responsibility, deprives him of his wholeness and imposes a painful fragmentariness on his life.
Carl Jung
