Reader comment on item: Destroying Sculptures of Muhammad
in response to reader comment: generalizing...

Submitted by B. Williame (Belgium), Apr 23, 2008 at 04:15

Taj.

True I use a generalisation.

Still for westerners, as there where not many other armies consisting of Muslims trying to invade their lands. Can't really talk about a generalisation.

The crusades at least consisted of different armies and were sent at different times. Perhaps people should stop generalizing each army by crusaders, but call each army by those who led them.

Of course this would demand a more extensive research of which I'm not sure internet could provide the correct answers.

Besides, turkey has a christian population as well... not many, but still... are you generalising them out of the picture?

Dear Taj, we both use generalisations to prove some point. at least have the courtesy to respond to me with a proper answer.

For example, do you agree with the definition I suggested or not?(and if so, what would you change?)

Do you agree that currently sharia law isn't yet installed in turkey?(and I mean fully installed)

Do you agree that if not halted by Turkish army or outside laws/politics. Sharia law can become installed as law for Turkey? (Is futuristic guessing/predicting, but as oppinions can be, you probably have one about this as well)

3 questions, please respond.

Regards
