"Narrated Ibn Abbas: Abu Talha, a companion of Allah's Apostle and one of those who fought at Badr together with Allah's Apostle told me that Allah's Apostle said. "Angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or a picture"

Hum... perhaps you could explain it as such or you could also explain it as Dogs are equally troublesome for angels as are pictures...

Or also could be interpreted as: "who ever lives in a house where there is a dog or pictures, no angels would visit that person at home"

Did the explanation given to it come from yourself or an Iman?

Still the explanation is human...

I have also another question... aura's, now that it seems to be possible to document them through pictures... what does your religion say about them? I know pictures need to be avoided for preventing people to start using them as idols. But a picture of a persons aura, does it fall under the same?
