Mansoor, is this your defence of Islam?? That the Bible (the OT) has worse passages than the Koran. What you are essentially saying is that the Koran also has plenty of barbaric verses, only less so. Does that give you satisfaction? If it does, then what if you compare Koranic verses with verses from Buddhist texts, Sikh texts, Bahai texts and so on and you find that the Koran beats them hollow in the barbaric verses department?

Remember, Mansoor, the Bible is father to the Koran. The progeny, the Koran, which by Muslim claims is only the corrected version of the Bible, is just a tad bit milder than the father.

Another thought, since you claim the Bible has been corrupted could these terrible verses be the ones that have been corrupted or interpolated?
