No Bells Ringing Here - Only the Sound of the Shofar

Reader comment on item: Destroying Sculptures of Muhammad
in response to reader comment: The Holy Spirit

What purportedly is presented here to emphasize a point of spiritual semantics may not necessarily ring any bells, but in the not to distant future, the shofar is sounding, spiritually speaking. This allusion to spiritual messages with logical content, which in the case of this reader is the Hebrew Holy Scriptures, prompts two (no three) examples, out of so of many for this reader.

Let us look at one that is contemporary, that of the people of Israel and their land. From the Torah, we read of Moses in his farewell admonition to the children of Abraham after leaving Egypt, directing them to follow the LORD into the promised land, or to suffer consequences for following their own hearts in disobedience and pride. Subsequently, we read of the establishment of the nation in the promised land under the leadership of Joshua, only to have it suffer relapse and restorations of a multiple sort. Go through the Scriptures and one can track this process through the various prophets, both contemporary to the times when written, to the revelations and warnings for the people of these times. The validation of the process is being culminated as we write this as we see Israel, the land, and Israel the people finding themselves immersed and embroiled in the words of the prophets, struggling to emerge as the people of the promise in the land promised to Abraham and the children of Israel.

Along those lines, and in the manner we can see this multi-part message in the coupling of the Book of Daniel and the Revelation of John. Daniel gives the message that outlines the history of Israel from its inception to its destiny, and the disciple whom Yeshua loved continues the message and brings it to its completion. Divine logic runs through it, yet in its logic we look deeper and see a spiritual commitment that the LORD Almighty God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob has for Israel and can trust that what He has purposes is going to happen, as we see it today.

Then, as this is being written following the latest celebration of the resurrection of Yeshua HaMashiach, the Hebrew Holy Scriptures has veins of Scripture gold concerning the Anointed One of Israel, described in His initial visitation of His people Israel, of His life, His revealing of the purposes of Almighty God the Father, His death burial and resurrection. His life continues eternally as the preparations for consummating Israel's destiny are done and only the execution of the plan remains to be seen by those who are waiting in expectation, and all will see that He has always been true to Israel, her people and to all who believe. We can read about Him in Isaiah, Micah, Zechariah prophetically, in the Gospels experientially, and in the Revelation expectantly. While there is eternal logic in this, it is in the trusting of Him and His Word that all arguments concerning Him are concluded in His favor.

Now, as this is on a forum where an ideology that seeks to controvert the logic of the Hebrew Holy Scriptures and replace it with a messianic message of its own, one is compelled to observe the best validation of the logic encrypted in the Holy Bible, that everything that has been described regarding Israel, her Anointed One, and the circumstances of the world as it tries to cope with such proofs and struggles to stay away from it, all of it is contained in the Word of the LORD. That being so, the best answer is to trust in the Word of the LORD, to trust in Yeshua HaMashiach, and once faith is allowed to work in such things, there the true logic will reveal itself in Him and His love.
