Taj: Islam the ulitmate in control - of body, mind, society and stateReader comment on item: Destroying Sculptures of Muhammad Submitted by Plato (India), Apr 13, 2008 at 09:36 The question, Taj, is whether they have striven away from Sharia. The question is whether they have striven towards secularism. The question is whether they have striven away from the concept of dar al harb. Which Muslim majority country does not like to call itself the Islamic Republic of something or the other. Everyone tries to be an Islamic republic or The prophet himself was a practiced dictator. He collected 20% of the booty for it is claimed for his treasury, which included his wives and children. Why else would Fatima come and claim her share from the prophet's properties her share from Abu Bakr? If Islam is not a form or government why would Muslim claim that the Koran is the final arbiter for all their laws? Do Christian majority nations claim this for their laws? Does India claim that their constitution is derived from Vedic principles?? regards Plato Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
