Islam loves winners

Muslims invaded Syria, Mesopotamia, Egypt, Armenia, Iraq, Iran, Tripoli, Carthage, India, and so on, and so on. Thousand upon thousands massacred defending their lives and their property.

The invasion of the Middle East by the Arabs was not by any means a joyous, liberating experience. There was a great deal of death and destruction. The inhabitants of towns taken by storm were either killed or led into captivity, and their property was forfeited. The jizya and the kharaj were a crushing burden for the non-Muslim peasantry. Familes who could not afford to pay the crushing dhimmi tax were obliged to hand over their children as payment.
