As you agreed on my previous words I have a question for you.

Would it not help to defeat bias if more Imams like yourself would go public with these words and message of peace?

Because I know television as well as radio is always coloured. But when I turn to the media it is sad to see but only bad things about your religion.

For a better PR it might be better to see muslims help a non believer out of the gutter instead of pushing him/her in it. It is sad, but I asked on an other forum to view a foto of a muslim helping a non muslim. The reactions where similar to the following: "sorry that doesn't exist." but most were more rude then that.

The verry moment muslims around the world would do these actions as giving to poor men and women who are non believers. as well as allowing non-believing women to go to muslim country's without having to be vieled, etc... It all would help the muslim cause in showing that Muslims are peace loving, forgiving and most mercyfull believers. but for as long it is not. You must understand that reactions as on a forum like this are more than to be expected.

If people only see the dark side of the moon, one can't blame them for not knowing the lightside.

Instead one should show them the white side and let them learn to appreciate both sides.

As both are needed. You see I'm a believer in the principle of balance.

You can't have evil without good as well as good becomes meaningless without evil. It might seem a strange philosophy at first. but I think "your" Allah, saw and understood this universal truth. You need a satan to fight against or there woud be no measurement for human behavior for good.

The verry moment humans can ascend above this truth we might be more then just humans, sadly I think most are not ready for this. They would fall into a foid and start seeking new evils as they need the battle it self as cause. A sad possible conclusion, not?

But before I wonder to far off, what do you think about my first proposal.

Go public with actions of peace, love, mercy and forgiving. Let the media record it and send it out to the world so all might see an other Islam then what most have seen until now. and that even Terrorists and extremists might be convinced of an other path in actions in the light of their belief.

Assalaimu alaikum,

B. Williame
