Speaking of Good News, we who are of the faith in Yeshua HaMashiach do have good news, that as we just celebrated the resurrection of Yeshua, we can say with confidence that He is risen and has promised His return at the end of the age. As it has been mentioned by this reader and others, that by the evidences and proofs provided in the Hebrew Holy Scriptures, those times are coming to a close quite rapidly. We have seen Gaza fall into place along with Lebanon, and the issues surrounding the 'times of the gentiles' are a part of our contemporary times. So there is agreement that things are falling into place.

Now, as to whether or not the United States is going to be Israel's defender as thses things progress, there is little Biblical evidence that Israel can count on that help. Not only that, the evidence of help from the European community does not have much Biblical support either. Instead, Israel has the promise of her Eternal Sovereign to get her through the very dark time approaching.

According to the Hebrew Holy Scriptures, it is apparent that Islam is stepping up to the plate (an American baseball euphemism) to take its turn at shaping a world based on Islamic ideology. Unfortunately (depending on one's point of view), it is going to be a short (epochally speaking) time in which to try and dominate Israel. In the end, the Almighty God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob will step in and conclude His Word on the matter, after which time Israel will remain in the land and all the world will be subject to her King of kings, LORD of lords, and one will have a hard time remembering what the world was like before the ascension of Yeshus HaMashiach to the throne in Jerusalem.

But for now, according to the Hebrew Holy Scriptures, try not to be too disappointed as Israel becomes and remains the proof of her LORD in this world and all things happen as HE has said it, not as we want it.
