Sorry for my small mistake..; though a nice compliment If i'd attribute to you the word faith (I suppose) :D

I understood that in the past there was a need for pigs to be seen as unlcean (though biologically close to humans) But it should be able to be revised as this is more or less connected to the situations at that time and in the more warm lands where the Islam was founded. In the more cooler western country's, Islam should be able to see that this is not any more up to date with current situations.

Same thing with dogs. I suppose they where seen as unclean in the past as they where more or less used as guard dogs or gabrage scavengers... Still strange, rats aren't forbidden to remain in homes then? Or that would be possibly because it was near to impossible to accomplish this properly.

I have a hard time accepting that people would be less blessed when having a guard dog for safety, or as a companion. Like you say a tetse flies, viruses and alligators woudn't be welcome in your home. though they aren't forbidden in Quran, right? So keeping a Krokodile, a thousand rats, some fungus and tsetse flies would be ok for angels? But a dog not?

I would suggest that Muslim would see this rather as a Religious order to keep your home clean. So that good health is blessed upon those muslims who follow that order.(Is also verry logic) But as I'm no muslim I have no real authority do suggest a change in point of view. At least this change would be I suppose more following the intend of what Allah possibly meant.

Who or what has that authority within Muslim community?

Regards!
