Taj,

true we need to redefine many words as it is clear to me. many use the same words but with different meanings.

Recently is a stretch word when talking about centuries.

"Muslim country" is also something we should talk about, what IS a muslim country?

Even if turkey would have a popluation of 99,99% of muslims for as long the leaders aren't and the laws aren't following sharia and the female westerners can still go there unveiled, is it then still a Muslim country?

If it is currently 99% muslim I must have been blindfolded when I visited Turky 20 years ago. Of course, much can change in 20 years...

Still the 'current' lifting of the law concerning the forbidding of wearing custom Islam female clothing in Universeties has caused turmoil. If this was already a Muslim country, woudn't it have been the other way around? (that the law would have to be lifted that women can take courses in universities when not wearing a viel.?)

What do you see as a definition of a Muslim country?
