I didn't change my name

Reader comment on item: Destroying Sculptures of Muhammad
in response to reader comment: Interfaith relations? really? We are proud infidels our dear Mullah Ahmad and his jihad and pork

Submitted by Imam Ahmed Syeed Ali Muhammed (United States), Apr 7, 2008 at 16:39

I didn't change my name, I was born with it.... didn't I already say this to you? It's obvious you feel that you can prove that all muslims are bad and that there are no Muslims who just simply want to live in peace with the rest of society. it's obvious that that you want an enemy to rant, and rail against, and since everyone feels Islam, not Terrorism is that enemy, you are happy why do you persist to call me a Mullah, and insist I want to be an Arab.

If you want to comment on anything I say, do it respectfully like everyone else does. I worked very hard to become an Imam, I'm proud of that. I don't disrespect anyone elses religion, because I wouldn't want mine disrespected. You have book smarts, but you have no respect for other people and thier opinions. don't respond to me until you can do it properly. I'm proud to be African. there are too many young black men who don't know who they are, where thier family comes from. All I'm simply doing is giving people a glimpse of the Islam I practice. I don't want to convert anyone. If they choose to convert that's between them and God.
