I would tell the Imam to write it as "Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahiim"

He could also write: Bismi-llahi Ar Rahman Ar Rahim

Or even: Bismillahi Ar Rahman Ar Rahim

either way, I would not recommend how you rendered it.

Now, if you actually want to write a completely accurate transliteration sans vocalization, you would actually have to write:

Bism Al llahi al RRahmanni al RRahiim

So in light of complete transliteration, your rendering is not complete...

Lastly, note the basmallah cited via general reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bismillah

It doesn't render the statement as you have done so either...
