Reader comment on item: Destroying Sculptures of Muhammad
in response to reader comment: To Jason and all those who are questioning if Islam is the Religion of Peace

A you wrote to Jason:

>>Islam does not order to invade or kill. However, Islam does ask to fight against invaders (Iraq, Palestine, etc.)<<

LOL. It is obvious either you have not read the Koran or you are practicing disinformation. Read 9:111YUSUFALI: Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth, through the Law, the Gospel, and the Qur'an: and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah? then rejoice in the bargain which ye have concluded: that is the achievement supreme.

And read 48:28 It is He Who has sent His Messenger with Guidance and the Religion of Truth, to proclaim it over all religion: and enough is Allah for a Witness.

Do you get the message A? Maybe you did not, but Muhammad's followers certainly did. Beginning with his favourite companion Abu Bakr. He killed thousands for reverting to their pagan faith when Muhammad died (have you forgotten the ridda wars?). His followers then rampaged across the world. They even went and slaughtered hundreds of thousands in India. Was India threatening them then? Since the Muslims invaded India should India not throw out the Muslims still in India now just as you demand that the Jews be thrown out or the Americans from Iraq?

Why did the Muslims invade distant Spain?

>>Islam orders us to treat people of other religions in the same way as we treat Muslims, as long as these don't attack us.<<

Hats off to the person who taught you Islam! Did the Maulana not tell you about 9:29 where you have to fight the unbelievers and humiliate them with a tax for staying as unbelievers under Islam. In Saudi Arabia the diya given to a non-muslim is much lesser than to that given to a Muslim.

>> Do you want to know why Muslims (and many other people in Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Africa) don't like Americans? Simply look at the recent history. The US has always openly supported Israel in all means, including direct military intervention in 1973<<

Ask the Latins, Europeans and Asians who they prefer, the Muslims or the Americans. Or ask any Muslim college student whether he would to prefer to live in a Muslim country (Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Indonesia, Pakistan, take your pick) or in the US or Europe. Don't fool yourself A. Would you care to relocate yourself to Saudi Arabia or Pakistan, A??? Be honest with yourself.

The US nuked and invaded Japan. Do you see the Japanese hating the US. Do you see them supporting Muslims anywhere to spite the Americans?

>> The US destroyed a country with 4000 years of civilization (Iraq), raped its women, killed its children, and robbed its fortunes (including oil).<<

Look who is talking. What did the Muslims do. They invaded Persia and destroyed an equally old civilization. They invaded present day Afghanistan and destroyed the Buddhist civilization which had existed there for nearly a thousand years before Islam. Muslims invaded India and slaughtered people in the millions

Muslims insist on throwing stones at others while living in glass houses. They don't seem to hear the glass shattering all around them.

>> You want more, ask Europeans about arrogant US attitudes,…<<

You want more, ask Asian workers in Arab countries. How arrogantly they treat the ‘miskins' (beggars?) from India/Pakistan.

>>Can you explain to me what the American "civilization" is about? Macdonalds, Marlboro, huge cars, Playboy, ExxonMobil, etc. Do you want more ...?<<

Can you explain to me what the Islamic civilization is about? 50% of humanity condemned as ‘awra', as giant sex organs, and forced to hide themselves in black robes lest they be raped by Muslim men aroused by the sight of an exposed ankle or lips. Do I want more?? Yes, bring it on. This is fun!
