in response to reader comment: Welcome to Turkey Erdogan Style

Look Solomon I may be harsh on you in my previous comment but still we are at the same point. If you look at the figures of most of the biggest economies of Europe and also US you will probably see those kind of historical contractions. US is compared with 1929 great depression times and figures of Europe is also obvious. Under such circumstances any government is limited in its ability to react those events. However what Erdogan did was to try to keep up up the spirit whether it is a lie or not is another issue but it is certainly better than to say "okay folks turkish economy is sinking so you must as economic agents stop investments and do not even make any expenditure on anyting." Would such a comment help to increase consumers trust or would it help to economy gain back its momentum.

During 2009 our biggest capital owners tried to influence with the figures like you have to make stand by agreement with IMF and the government rejected it. IMF advised contractionist policies to Ukraine to iceland and others while expansionist policies to US , england and other developed countries. On one side you will produce and sell it to me on the other side I will cut back my workforce and other social investment to pay my debt to IMF . Now after 1 and half year everybody in international arena congratulates the government for this move and forecasts a positive growth rate the coming year may be the the biggest rate in Europe which I assume you have forgotten to mention. You accuse them for all of the products of the crisis.

You have another assumption I speak like one of the representatives of the government. I read my previous comments again whether I missed a point or whether you are right. Yes you are in fact right. But does this change my argument's quality? Does this change what OECD report or fitch have said? Does this change the projected growth rates next year? Does this change the fact that 7 years ago our public dept mostly composed of foreign agents such as IMF and now mostly to the domestic agents? After 40 years we are in a situation (started with the correct policies suggested by Kemal Dervis) to say no To IMF. There is something changing Solomon and you have to read those signs correctly and objectively. As I have told you there are extremists and there will always be but humanity should win. We should help each other. we are the same muslim people Who helped JEWS centuries ago and we are the same people who helped jews ın the second world war. The funny thing is you all guys believe that change is becuase of Erdogan. There can not be such a drastic change in politics if the public disapproves it. There are other Erdogans waiting for their turn to come. My objection is to the point you say that Turkey is a bankcrupt country. and you show those years' figures which I certainly agree to some of them and blame this government for that. THAT IS NOT TRUE SOLOMON AND YOU KNOW IT. The truth is we will not pursuing the same nonsense politics. We will be (that is my wish also) protecting our rights as you do. If you are attacking to armless people in palestine we will be against you. If they kill innocent jews in the street through terrorist attacks we will be against them. I answer to your comments because I know you would also want the same (you are different than muslimkush nickname guy and that kind of mindset beacuse I can do nothing but only be sorry for him/her).
