Turkey as a Piece of the Prophetic Enigma

Being in opposition of circumstances that have pitted civilizations against each other for centuries is, in all reality, the true position for a true believer in Yeshua HaMashiach, Jesus Christ. In His parting words before His ascension in front of the true believers of His first advent, His instruction were to witness and to baptize in His Name. There were no demands to conquer. Only in the blasphemous aberration of His instructions was Christianity perverted into the conquering force as manipulated by the Roman sensibilities that eventually permeated the early (and now still functioning) faux-Christian church.

Like you, I came from a Catholic background, though brought up in the Anglican communion, and found (in retrospect) that my early years of religious development were thwarted by a knowledge of the basic principles of the Holy Bible, but never infused by the power of His Holy Spirit. Not until introduced to His Holy Spirit was I able to make any approach to understanding what the Hebrew Holy Bible was saying to me, and the journey that I was set upon now guided by His presence.

I am thinking that Dawud is your 'nom de foi', that your indication of allegiance (conversion?) to Islam comes from the same loss of confidence in the mainstream version of Christianity, and that we each took our leads from that which spoke to us the most.

For me further, the evidence that the version of apocalyptic events that will occur is from the Hebrew Holy Bible stems from the historical record, and from the record we see being accomplished before our eyes. Zephaniah is being played out as we speak.

As for the depths of beliefs and whether our respective lives are required to be forfeit for our individual beliefs, my faith has carried me for thirty-three years, through a near death experience, and will go beyond when the time comes. But the circumstances surrounding Israel and the timing of events as they are seen each day leads to the belief that I will be available to my LORD for a witness of His performance of His WORD, as it happens. Further, I am promised through His death in the cross that my future is written in His Book of Life, and will only lose this mortal body on the way to eternal life.

Conversely, I have heard and read from several of the Islamic persuasion of the Muslim version of events and have come to the conclusion that with a correct reading of the Revelation and how Islam is to be treated prior to the return of Yeshua HaMashaich, Israel will be returned to full favor of the LORD and Yeshua will assume His rightful place on the throne as promised to Abraham. From this we can determine that, as you had opined in your opening phrase regarding the opposition between Islam and true Christianity, the opposition to the return of Yeshua HaMashiach will be the centerpiece of all events leading to the fulfillment of the prophecies of the Hebrew Holy Bible. Since it has major portions that have already come true (see Israel, the most compelling evidence of the Holy Bible and its Truth, and Turkey's change of allegiance that is spoken of as well), it is the basis if my faith that it will all come true, and that is what I have chosen to believe.
