in response to reader comment: Poland 99.8% Catholic Monolculture ? God No !

Sydney Australia ,

If you don't have any valid and important point to make, please don' t try to divert our attention from the subject raised by Dr. Pipes' insightful article. But still if you are determined to deflect us from the subject, please check better your data. The CIA Factbook gives the 99,8% Islamization rate for allegedly 'secular' Turkey. They cite indeed also 99,8% for Poland ... but it pertains to our literacy rate. Poland's data on religion look as follows

"Roman Catholic 89.8% (about 75% practicing), Eastern Orthodox 1.3%, Protestant 0.3%, other 0.3%, unspecified 8.3% (2002)"

I am an agnostic myself. So again what's your point here?Is it what you call 'monoculture'?

> Your description above rings very similar tones and lyrics to any other long term nation-monoculture ! <

First, let me recall that up to 1945 Poland was a multi-ethnic state, with every third citizen being a Jew, a German, a Ukrainian, a Lithuanian. The proportions were even more diversified if you go back in time. Unlike the Turks we have never repudiated and falsified our past e.g. by denying our dark sides and crimes like anti-Semitism.

> Turks are not any diffrent in their international play to any other state/nation.<

This must be an article of faith on your part. If it weren't you'd add a number of arguments in its favour. My argument is that committing a few genocides within a few years ( after centuries of notorious Islamic oppression) and now jailing and killing anyone who dares admit the obvious historical fact doesn't look like being "not any diffrent in their international play to any other state/nation", you Turkish apologist , does it ?

In this context it might be kind of you to explain to me e.g. why Turkey has had the cheek to ask the US to reveal to the Turkish police state the identities of foreign citizens who dare say openly what they think of Ataturk on YouTube ? Is it because the Turkish pashas want to congratulate them on seeking for and finding the truth ?

Isn't it enough for the Turks to brainwash and terrorize their own citizens? By Allah, the Turk wants to apply his vicious jihadist mehods to foreign citizens now too! And he has chosen the US as his secret agent.

> I guess EU member Poland must be a 98.8% Catholic Monoculture with lesser issues then Turkey !<

Your guess is wrong. Compare the statistics first before drawing any conclusions.
