Reader comment on item: Turkey: An Ally No More
in response to reader comment: If Turkey is such a great place then why do Muslim Turks emigrate to the west?

Submitted by Kivanch K (Turkey), Jan 15, 2010 at 10:57

Throughout the centuries Turks and Jews have been in alliance and harmony. Turks welcomed Jews running from Catholic inquisition in Spain, Nazi germany and many other muslim and chrisitan oppressors.

Anti-semitism never took place in Turkish world.

On the other hand Arabs are the least nation to criticize Turkey. Because the same Arabs backstabbed Turks in the 1st World War. Now they are paying the cost of their betrayal.
