Thanks a lot for your insightful comments. I fully agree with your conclusions.

You point out :

A Turk that I got to know some time ago on a different forum wrote to me today literally this (I preserve his spelling) :

"we are being brainwashed from childhood to death.Can you believe I was may be 17 when I realised there was still Greeks living in Turkey or Armenians,Jews.Their names were ennemies in our school books and they gave us the impression that they were not exist anymore."

He managed to see through Turkish fascist brainwashing. His way of escape was communism. But few choose that in Turkey and few other ways out are open there. So most remain what they have been formed into by Turkish education - Turkish Islamized fascists in camouflage clothing of 'secularism' .
