Allah is the Moon God

Reader comment on item: Is Allah God? - Continued
in response to reader comment: Allah is DEFINITELY NOT the same god as the God of Israel, who is also the Christian God, the Father

Submitted by Henrik Ræder Clausen (Denmark), Oct 7, 2006 at 13:27

"Besides the fact that most scholars identify Allah as a Moon God."

Good point. Also worth noting is that the five pillars of Islam are all direct continuations of the small polytheist cult that Mecca was before Muhammad. And that Allah spends an inordinate amount of time in Hell rejoicing in the sufferings of the unbelievers, hypocrites and everyone else who did not follow Allah/Muhammad to the letter.

The God of Jews and Christians would never do such a thing. He has compassion even for those who go astray.
