Dispensational understanding

Reader comment on item: Is Allah God? - Continued
in response to reader comment: God

Submitted by Charles Margolin (United States), May 28, 2021 at 13:00

The author of this article is fairly accurate concerning the trinity of God..
but he seems to err by not recognizing
the dispensations..such as Scofield or Ryrie..so his article can only be rate as d- to c- as a whole..although parts of it are b- to a+..I am a southern Baptist Christian..and am evangelical &
& fundamental & conservative..I use the
King James bible only..in the english language..some of this author's explanations were enhanced by his hebrew
& jewish references..but his errors came
..it seems to me..by not having a true biblical understanding of end time events..such as the
pre-tribulational rapture of the church & the 7 yrs of tribulation on this earth..while the church is in heaven
..experiencing the JUDGEMENT seat of Christ & the marriage supper of the Lamb
& the 1000byr reign of Christ on this earth..& the the great white throne judgement for unbelievers (only)..but he
Is in error also by implying that Christian's today must keep the sabbath..if he would have suggested that sabbath keeping would be good..for
worshipping & bible study..& that having a Sunday day of worship..in addition to Saturday..would be even better..so the question is not which one is better..the
only question is can the believer afford to have 2 days of rest & relaxation..
instead of just one..having a 2nd day of rest is always better than just one alone..most everyone works only 5 days per week anyways..so mowing lawns, etc.
Should be set aside for other days..
rather than Saturday or Sunday..if possible..so these are just suggestions & not really laws..God wants to bless us..He does not really wish to threaten us or to force us into loving Him..we
need to go deeper into grace & mercy..
for the bible to make more sense.
