in response to reader comment: Proof that Jesus Prayed to Allah

In that case let me use Hamilton's own logic, with a different verse to prove that Jesus prayed to the Jewish God:

Consider the Gospel of Matthew (27:46): And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

As has been noted, "El" is the singular of "Elohim" in the Tanach, so we have Aleph (alif), lamed(lam), yod which in Hebrew means "My God".

Therefore, when Jesus prayed, he prayed to his God. And Christians rightfully treat Jesus as one person of the Trinity, here we see him calling out to the Father, El.
