Your questions are right on the mark. Man cannot have a relationship with the Diety, This the rationale of the Christians. For them, knowledge of the diety can only be achieved by the intercession of the Christ, with the actions of a devine spirit. With the Jews, it is an intellectual pursuit to 'know " the diety thru the law. With the Moslems, the diety is remote,impersonal, unapproachable. 'Communion' with the Muslim diety in paradise requires the killing or being killed in the service of the diety.
