Is God God?

Reader comment on item: Is Allah God? - Continued
in response to reader comment: Allah IS God

Submitted by Linda Haslam (United States), Oct 17, 2007 at 15:31

Why? Why is God God? Why are any of us arrogant enough to think that we can intellectually define God or speak for God? Why do we take refuge in scripture rather than trying to align our innermost thoughts and feelings with a "higher power? Why do we try to empower ourselves by denigrating others? Why is an Infidel of lesser value than a Muslim? Why is a woman of lesser value than a man? Why should we not be allowed to ask "Why?"
