in response to reader comment: Man's concept of God

Submitted by Mo (United Kingdom), Dec 10, 2007 at 08:24

Allah may not be God in Christian concept for chistian god is a part to trisome diety. Also man is created in the true likeness of God according to christians, so the christian god had human face we well as it has lower animal fuctions like begetting a child. But in Islam god is eternal, unimitable, not begotten nor begetting lord, of universe revered by Adam, Abraham, Jesus and Mohammed. His unique name is Allah which cannot be currupted into Gods, Goddess, Godman, Godfather, Godmother etc.

It is also the name used by Arab christians since the time of Jesus of Nazareth, not the Pauline Jesus of Graeco- Roman culture. It is the name used by almost 15 million christians in the middle east currently. It is also the name used in the millions of Arabic translations of bible produced even by Evangilical christians of America, with exactly same spelling and pronounciation.
