An Occidental Look at Oriental RelationshipsReader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Feb 3, 2021 at 12:25 In the world beyond my immediate sphere, I am this. In the sphere of the Muslim community, I would be considered as:كافر Dhimmi No More has done much to enlighten this observer on understanding issues in the Muslim community and now it seems there is controversy here for a deeper reason than many understand; so here we are; for what it might be worth, an outsider intervenes in search for peace. This observer refrained from comment before now, since it is outside the normal range and sphere of relevant relationships, though this observer has many Muslim acquaintances, many close and caring. But in my reality of being brought up by westernized parents of European descent who respected each other, and stayed together for more than 60 years, they taught something that even some supposed westernized religious people never get-relationships that result in true marriage are arragements of respect; and more importantly, marriage, true marraige, is about sacrifice one to another to get through this drama called life, searching for peace with each other. And if that is not the core of the relationship, then do not be surprised if it goes south and every one suffers, let alone achieving happiness, which is never achieved. Love is illusory; but respect, everyone understands. And yes, this is based from the book that comes from the 'People of the Book,' which is why this observer cares.
