It is easy for a Muslim man to speak this way; Islam, by its own declarations and the proclamations of its clerics places the responsibility of imposing its requirements on women in such way that does not allow women any freedom of being who they are independent of the relationship imposed by the male.
In the Christian perspective, any Christian male that adopts a superiority attitude such as this is heading for a clash against the WORD of the LORD in thinking that being the head of that marriage household permits a domineering relationship-it does not and misery is guaranteed to follow. Muslim males mistake that attitude of their perspective of Christianity as a reason for saying that the Christian way is flawed. In a true Christian relationship, Yeshua, Christ the Savior is the head of household and the man and wife live in the love He bestows upon them. It is a love of obedience to the truth. Islam rejects that. It is why he says what he says.
