As has been shown in the continuing questioning of the pros and cons of marriage between two decidedly different cultures (occidental vs oriental), the issue of love is set aside and the determination should be beyond the confusion that apparently is the center of such relationships. Now, understand that this observer's perspective is from a modified understanding of marriage as proclaimed by a Messianic perspective.

True marriage is a relationship that requires sacrifice from both partners; if it is one sided, it will never provide the love and comfort that should be mutually sought. This has obviously been an issue as you have already determined is missing in your conversations. Even solid relationships will never survive this and in this case is totally missing.
