Dear Dr Pipes, thanks for correcting me about q33-4. I do not much understand its full meaning yet but it surely does not mean what I thought it meant.

I still do not understand why Allah speaks in Quran in so difficult-to-understand ways. Many religious texts are very difficult to understand because they try to explain complex ideas. But Quran makes simple ideas complex. Perhaps it is the fault of the Arabic language. Or whatever.

My inquiry will continue.
