Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men
in response to reader comment: Why on earth you are dating Mena men again

Submitted by Didi (Turkey), Nov 20, 2021 at 14:42

I was afraid of him trying to kidnap the baby, which is why I'm hesitant to trust his word. Of course they all claim women have right to child even in Morocco and I can register with the police and Embassy on arrival. I am tempted to just run back to the US with the baby and try to divorce there.

I am (thinking of getting) involved with another MENA man because I didn't get involved to try them out, and don't blame them all for some of their mistakes. However, I am hesitant and cautious. But to quit dating a whole group of men because of one bad experience means I'd never date any men then except to try NE Asian.

The new guy seems nice...but of course I'm cautious. Not only because he's MENA,but just a new man in general around my little girl. I would like to have 1 or 2 more children also. He's also ready for a family and to settle in Europe, but we'll have to go somewhere else because my ex will not leave me alone if he thinks I'm with another MENA.

But I'm only thinking of that in the future. My focus now is on my divorce and making sure that my daughter is safe.
