Here is another very interesting video of another interview of Prof. Shady Nasser by Islam Critiqued of YouTube and it is about the "Canonizations of the Qur'an."

We all have to keep in mind that a "holy" book cannot be canonized until the "community" agrees about what the text really says and in the case of the Qur'an it could not have been before the Masoretic activity by the likes of al-Tabari in the late second and early 3rd century of Islam. And the final canonization of the Qur'an took place in 1923-1924 and the end result is the Cairo Qur'an
