Empty Promises Lead to Empty Hearts - Seek Spiritual Truth First

It appearing that there is something deep is still unresolved, return to the post where the appearance of insincerity inserted itself into the observation(s) and why there appears still the nagging issue of what is one to think, let alone do, in this kind of situation. To that end; there does not appear that anything will be lost that was never there in the first place.
That being the case, if, after two or so years, is there value where there is no expectation? The evidence is that unless and until he recognizes truly your value in any kind of relationship, this ends up in futility.
Your search of a fulfilling relationship under these circumstances is doubtful; yet no one but you can make the determination (to be true to yourself under the saving grace of our LORD and Savior) that allows for establishing a better sense of what life may bring when reality sets in and empty promises are set aside.
Search for a better spiritual fulfillment inside your heart with the Savior as your guide; then He will bless you with fulfilling your heart's desire before relying on any mortal man to do that which is impossible.
