Can anyone answer my questionReader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Jessica (Canada) (Canada), Sep 11, 2022 at 23:29 Hello everyone As my wedding approach near in one and half month..me and mohamed are so excited and we have all our papers ready for notarized and authenticate by the ministry of foreigner affair..we will have a nikah marriage and ceremony..mohamed said the adul will marry us in the court and after the wows finished me and him have to say the 2 phrases from the daily prayer in front of the adul and the 2 witness..now it doesn't sit quite well with me..mohaned say saying the two phrases does not make me a muslim because I don't ever plan to be a muslim..he say this is just the procedure for marriage..and my friends and my coptic egypian boss and friends argued with me according to Islam if you say the 2 versus from the prayer the Koran this mean you are automatically become a muslim..can anyone verify this question for me or perhaps Mr. PIPE can answer this question . My fiancee mohamed kept telling me changing my religion to Islam require to go to the mosque and pray and witness present then the religion paper is given..not just 2 witness in the wedding and say the 2 phrases and make you a muslim ..so I was confused I asked some muslim women some say it's automatically change to Muslim if i say these verses in my nikah marriage in front of 2 witness.and some say no ..it just doesn't make sense to me..I make mohamed ask the adul again tomorrows in court..my tickets are all booked..I'm going for 6 wwejs this time and my wedding will take place in Rabat..finally happens after 8 years Submitting....
