Your love for him is more beautiful than this man.If you want to be safe,don't travel there ,where you may" lose" your passport and become helpless.Or you may be made to marry him in a mosque -which is not valid anywhere.Forget about the cost,just be safe.He may take someone else's help to come over to your city and get in touch with you.Even that could be dangerous.
It's the feeling of being in love that is overwhelming.Overcome that and find someone belonging to your clan so you have references from known people and you don't get used or betrayed.
