If you are feeling the way you are and will be vulnerable to his charms Bella maybe it would be better cutting your loss now and trying to go no contact as this is the only way he will not be able to manipulate you with kind words. If you don't hear them in the first instance then they will not get to you. I think from previous posts on here you would be responsible for him for 10 years in the US, however it seems to be getting harder in terms of getting through immigration these days as well. Good! Life is a rollercoaster but also beautiful and therefore you should try to make sure your future will be happy, safe, secure and without the problems that go with these type of relationships / sagas. Most of us did our checks or thought we had a genuine person but alas our stories did not turn out well. These people are professional manipulators, narcissists, psychopaths - if you read a couple of books or online info it may open your eyes as to how they work and help you to make a concrete decision going forward. Don't lose your precious feelings and love to someone if you feel they may be a bad one and / or be used. The deceit and betrayal afterwards is very hard to deal with even when you stop loving them and don't give a damn about them. There are some good ones out there but these people who we discuss on here and scam innocent victims are desperate to get away from their countries to make a better life and earn money to fund their family / partner etc back home. They need to get / earn money because their responsibilities are so high as a male from this background / culture. Think carefully and think about yourself, your future - do you want this type of experience if it all comes tumbling down? Good luck :)
