You are right, HopeReader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men Submitted by Keira (Australia), Sep 6, 2019 at 16:35 You are right, Hope. Robin, I am telling you again, do not suffer in regards to his family, because all of them were on the scam. They hide us from their families because we are not suitable: not according to their religion nor their culture. So, unless we accept their sicky proposals (I have said many times already, i.e. polygamy, lying about our existing kids, age), they will not hear a word about us. If they do hear, it is only because their son is after a better future for all his family and then, all of them agree to cover his pretended and faked love. I am telling you this because I don't want you to waste a second on thinking of this family loss. I want you to save this grieve because it is not real. Just think that being Muslim is their first condition to agree on the marriage. Starting with this, they will not want to hear anything from you. After that, all the requisites I have listed several times come after. And they are crucial for the marriage to be possible and believable. Keep in mind too that immigrant officers talk to their relatives to ensure the authenticity of the relationship, so they need to have all their families aware of the scam. So stupid that he did it well with his family but didn't prepare the interview... So confident he was on his plan! I am glad that officers nailed their job! Take it easy and follow our advice. You will be fine... I am more than sure :)
